Summit 2015

I was back in Melaka for the Pastors Summit this year but this time with Ethan in tow. My parents decided to come too so my mum could help me babysit during the sessions. The hubbs had decided to go to hk during the same period to replace his id card but we found it when we were moving house! Since the flight was alr booked though, he went ahead and had a relaxing break.

It was definitely different with a baby & my folks in tow. I didnt get to hang out as much with the rest & definitely no suppers since it was just Ethan and I in the room but that meant lots of time to sleep and read at night. He was really excited when he first got to the room & got acquainted with his cot for the next 4 days.

He slept quite well on most part except one night when he woke & didnt wanna go back to zzz fr 1am to 2am. Oh man. I was so tempted to let him sleep on my bed but in the end I held out and put him back in his cot.

This being my mum’s first trip with E, she had agreed to settle his food stuff while I wld bring the rest. However she forgot to bring rice to cook! Not to be flustered, she went down to the buffet line to get porridge & that was pretty much what we did over the next few days cause I didnt want to buy a sack of rice or go through the hassle of cooking. Expectedly, he liked the flavours.

Also let him swim in the bathtub though hes so tall now that he can just stand really. Dont ask me why the water looks like that.

Overall the summit was a gd recharge and I was blessed to hear powerful stories from marketplace ppl who used their influence to make good & godly decisions for their company. Money isnt everything. Morality matters too.

I also had loot of my own in the form of a pair of jelly bunny flats and really cheap specs (compared to SG prices). I am never making specs in SG again!

After 4 days of relaxing and receiving fr the Lord, we set off for home.

Except for a scare when my dad’s car engine suddenly died at a traffic light but then revived quickly, all was well. Thk God for his protection!
